I love the blue laces too!

Diemme Roccia Vet Boot
These capture the mountaineering style beautifully. Although I would say they would perform more true to spirit back home, Im sure I could make use of them once and a while. One thing that is a plus in my opinion is the thinner vibram sole. Most of these style boots utilise a fairly chunky sole which adds even more bulk to the burly boot.
The Fix: Denim Therapy
I remember a few months back you and I were talking about the blown crotches on our denim. At that time I searched on the net for different methods of repair hoping to come across some good ideas that I could run by my dad. I stumbled across the Jake Davis blog where he posted some A.P.C.s with a blown crotch asking people for ideas and places to get them repaired. Checked his blog today for the first time since then and he posted the final product after taking them to get repaired at a place called Denim Therapy. Pics speak for themselves! The first three pics are the after photos and the one at the bottom is before the repair.

We used to talk about Jeff Staple a lot. When I really first got into this shit I always kind of put Jeff Staple on a pedestal because to me he kind of epitomized what I understood as streetwear. Fast forward to today and I'm not really into that avenue as I was before but I still see him in the same way. His whole state of mind and approach is dope to me. I still really want to go to a Reed Space sometime and I would still rep his product.
What I Wore Friday
Once again it is cold as shit. This time last week I was walking my dog in a t-shirt which is stupid.
Coat: Old Navy. This coat is from grade 10! that's like 5 years ago haha. It looks tailored but the truth is I was a lot skinnier in high school so really I just finally filled it in.
Shawl Knit Cardigan: Gap. Got this cardigan on sale for less than $20.00 the summer of '07. Only a few years later did the wool knit shawl cardigan make its comeback haha. It's not a great piece to wear on it's own because it's not fitted and makes me look fatter than I already am. Nice to layer though. Super warm. Cheapest most functional purchase I've made since high school.
V-neck sweater: Gap
Bracelet & Keychains: //h
Jeans: A.P.C. PS
Boots: Clarks

Acapulco Gold X Mark McNairy New Amsterdam
Definitely something I have not seen from Acapulco Gold. Like the aforementioned transition of hypebeast interviews, this just goes to show how far "streetwear" has really strayed from the beginning as I remember it. I guess that's not completely fair to say though. It could just be that Benny Gold is trying something different aside from the graphic tees and fitted caps. Anyways, I really like the boots and the denim. The pebbled leather is cool. These two pieces definitely compliment each other. The colour of that boot can go with anything (as far as I can picture in my mind anyway). Seems to me like you could pair em' up with some crisp new denim or lace em' up with something old and beaten.

The Faces Behind Tanner Goods
Hot Dang!
Tanner Goods relaunched their website and while I was looking through everything I saw this little number. I have the brown one but love this saddle tan colour. I probably would have got this color if it was available a year ago. It's hard to think about purchasing any wallets considering my recent hobby but this has really got me considering it.
I posted this and kept looking through the site and realized how much I love this 'saddle tan'. So I decided to put up a few other pieces. Sunglass case and card holder.
Keep in mind however, I do strongly believe in natural leather as it will turn rich and dark.

Still looking for a new pack
This bag, the Scout Pack from Duluth Packs looks like it would be a good daypack. Super simple and a classic look. Not a huge fan of the leather emblem on the top corner, maybe it can be taken off easily. All in all, it would be something unique.
I feel the waxed canvas more so than the olive.

Couple of cool products I've come across... while bored in class.
First up Abington Work Boot by Timberland. I'm in love with this line. Peep the website, the collection is sick. I really hope they continue to release this line. Second up are regular Timberland Chukka. Easier on the wallet and the blue is a nice touch. Finally, the denim trousers are by Bleu De Paname. I just really like the caramel pockets. I don't know anything about the quality of the denim, but their line is being carried by some very reputable retailers. Back to learning.
