boots...

You said you were over the RW steez but not necessarily boots in general. I have been trying to expand my boot horizons with more traditional brands.

Two different styles of black Indy boots.

Two styles of White's Boots Semi-Dress boots.

Heritage Research Mountain Jacket

I originally was going to just post the jacket and describe the outfit in my head. But I figured it would be nice to put some needed effort into the blog. So voila!

Trenchcoats

Here are some cheap alternatives. First coat is by Topman at about $160.00. Second coat is by H&M at about $119.00. All my jackets have the m65 shoulder so the first one would be a nice change. We can't get Topman here though haha. Maybe H&M will have some nice coats when I come there.

Nom De Guerre

I need a coat! I'm broke so I won't be getting one for a while. If I am to ever buy a coat though I I wouldn't be opposed to spending a bit more than what I am used to because for me, it is one of the most difficult pieces to acquire. Maybe it is because Regina has no variety. Whatever the case may be, I would really like a nice, fitting coat that I can wear anywhere be it a night out for drinks or some kind of fancy dinner. I like the design of the black coat because of the the cinch and the length of it. However, I really like the colour of the second one.

Diemme Roccia Vet Boot

These capture the mountaineering style beautifully. Although I would say they would perform more true to spirit back home, Im sure I could make use of them once and a while. One thing that is a plus in my opinion is the thinner vibram sole. Most of these style boots utilise a fairly chunky sole which adds even more bulk to the burly boot.

I love the blue laces too!

The Fix: Denim Therapy

I remember a few months back you and I were talking about the blown crotches on our denim. At that time I searched on the net for different methods of repair hoping to come across some good ideas that I could run by my dad. I stumbled across the Jake Davis blog where he posted some A.P.C.s with a blown crotch asking people for ideas and places to get them repaired. Checked his blog today for the first time since then and he posted the final product after taking them to get repaired at a place called Denim Therapy. Pics speak for themselves! The first three pics are the after photos and the one at the bottom is before the repair.
